JD Vance chances of successful administration with MAGA after replacing Trump. [View all]

We all know that the US Constitution dictates that should the President of the United States be unable to complete his term he will be replaced by the Vice President and the House Speaker only assumes the role if both are eliminated/incapacitated at the same time. The Speaker does not become Vice President. The Vice Presidential replacement is then nominated by the President and shall only take office after confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

JD Vance is unpopular with MAGA in large part because of his marriage to an Indian women and his children having Indian Hindu names. He's even less popular with Americans in general because of his participation in promoting Trump's racist MAGA policies at home and abroad. Should Trump pass or be replaced (25th Amendment) due to his obvious health issues, Vance would most likely be an even less popular President than Trump.

Most MAGAs probably don't even know about Vance's affiliation and financial backing from Peter Thiel, owner of Palantir (MAGA thinks Palantir has weather machines) and backer of Elon Musk starting way back with his original company X. They even more likely don't know about Vance's affiliation with the distressed farmland acquisition company Acre Traders or his contributions to Heritage Foundation and Project 2025.

If more of the public is reminded about these and other of Vance's social and political liabilities it would probably guarantee him an even lower favorability rating in the polls than Trump is currently getting. That will greatly impact the mid term elections. Maybe even in Texas where the Heritage Foundation president is from because his organization had Vance write the foreword to their Project 2025 book.
