desperately hope to be white which is why the Republicans believe they could betray them and get away with it. My best friend lived in Texas from 2014-2022 and he told me the Democrats never had a chance of flipping Texas blue despite it becoming a minority majority state simply because he observed so many Latinos who were filled with self hatred and would do anything to be accepted by white people. Keep in mind my friend is a registered Democrat so he definitely was frustrated observing what he saw.
