And the shutdown meant that we didn't get the last couple jobs reports so no one really knows how much worse it's getting.

Lots of businesses closing or laying off. Social media chuck full of people looking for jobs who are saying they're applying to hundreds of posts with no responses. Costs going up.

The BLS is not yet corrupt, but I think we're going to see some awful numbers from them when they get back up and running and then Trump will force them to start cooking the books.

Be kind, whether we know it or not, we're all a lot closer to living on the street than we are to living in a penthouse. I don't think the average person realizes how tedious their own financial situation really is.
