Robin Wright has joined the growing list of celebrities who have left America and aren't looking back.

The House of Cards actress, 59, opened up about her big move in a recent interview with the U.K.'s Sunday Times, sharing that she and architect boyfriend Henry Smith, 52, are happily renting a home on the English seaside.

"It’s liberating to be done," she told the outlet with a grin. "Be done with searching, looking and getting 60 per cent of what you wanted."

The Texas-born and California-raised star didn't mince words when it came to her reason for departing her home country: "America is a s---show," she said simply. "I love being in this country. There’s a freedom of self here."
