They were all wound up about the pedo ring claimed to be operated by Hillary out of the basement of the pizza restaurant that didn't have a basement.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pizzagate_conspiracy_theory Even though that particular part of the theory fell apart after some fuckwit tried to shoot the place up, the lunatic right is still convinced there is an international pedophilia ring involving "elites," particularly Democrats, and the focus was on Epstein after he was found dead in jail in 2019, and it's why they've been demanding the release of the files. They've been convinced that the Epstein files are a major source of information about the international pedo ring, and it's why Trump et al. have been promising to make them public - and why they went nuts when AG Barbie suddenly said, oops, there's nothing in them. The pedo thing is the holy grail of conspiracy theories. Just being a letch and a con man is OK, but being part of the Big Conspiracy isn't.
