if it wasn’t to defend his silence about Colbert. Every other late night comedian has defended Colbert including Kimmel who’s on vacation, but Maher has been silent. Yet you chose to jump in when you didn’t have to.

I chose to jump in with what context I knew and it's unfortunate that you are antagonistic about it.

Maher could be not responding because he's an asshole. I simply replied because he doesn't seem to comment outside his projects or interviews on things.

But if you don’t monitor him how can you use the word “consistent”.

Because I've followed many media outlets for decades. I don't that I'm unique on that front.

Or maybe you don’t understand the meaning of the word “consistent”?

Oh ok.

I’m trying to understand why someone would make such a statement if not to defend Maher for his silence.

I've commented on say sports games where I didn't care about the team, but was simply pointing something out.
