He blamed the US for the collapse of the USSR and vowed revenge.
His goal was to break up the US into 50 nation states.
And to render the US weak and impotent.

Yes the federal government held the US together.
And the three separate branches of government and the US constitution.
We were a nation of laws, and an ideas of freedom and democracy.

All of that has and will continue to be destroyed.
All collapsing in front of our eyes.

Yes we have the most powerful military in the world, a huge stash of nuclear warheads.
What will happen to them as the US collapses?

Hopefully other countries can contain the US.

Yes there will be more US refugees to other countries.
The science and medical communities are leaving now.
More will follow.
Can the world take us all in?

I don't know.
