Will the "Epstein files" be an issue in the mid-terms? [View all]

Only if the Democrats make it an issue, in my opinion.

Naturally, the Republicans want it to go away. Democrats should not rely on the MAGA base to make it an issue in the next election. They may be off on some other wild conspiracy theory by then?

But the Democrats should be prepared to remind them about how they felt about Epstein way back in July of 2025. It should not be allowed to disappear.

And it will only disappear if the Democrats let it disappear.

If Trump and his DOJ are able to sweep it under the rug at this time, Democrats should just put the issue in their back pocket and bring it out just before the mid-term elections, in my opinion.

It will still be a potent issue.
