They're purposely meant to intimidate the public at large. The message is:

We've got an army now. You have no chance of resisting.

I read yesterday, ICE picked up and charged those protesting outside the ICE headquarters in Portland. Officers allege the protesters were throwing rocks and harassed officers, something we've heard numerous times before.

They're planning big sweeps of Democratic-controlled cities. It's going to get very ugly with bigger incursions and agents huffed up with all the money and TrumpLove thrown at them.
