1. AFAIK a vote in the House doesn't mean shit

The House has no authority to make any judges unseal files, and while they have 'oversight' over DoJ, I can't remember the last time the House forced DoJ to release anything they didn't want to, they just make up some bullshit for why can't/don't have to, and that's that. Dems had both Houses AND POTUS from 2021-2022, and we still haven't see the unredacted Mueller report, for example. And the House doesn't have any info on this subject of its own to 'release', cause they've never even investigated Epstein

This is a dog and pony show by MTG, she's trying to carve out a 'maverick' status (which was also bullshit when the word was bandied about with McCain ... at least until Trump came along and legit pissed him off personally). She's been told she's allowed to do this, but only because no vote is going to come, and even if it did, it sure shit wouldn't be to release anything. Trump has told them to move along, and that's what they're doing. What they're told.
