39. When the host's entire monolgue

Sunday

is topical humor, reruns are like death. If i turn on Colbert and right away he's riffing on something The Felon did two weeks to a month ago -- which has happened many times -- I'm changing channels. Maybe most people don't; I dunno.

I prefer Kimmel, anyway, because he doesn't mug for the camera. But my parner likes Colbert -- or, used to. For the last year or so, she's always working on music around 11:30 p.m.
