Especially jobs that start off with a $40k bonus and promise $100k a year for whatever remains of their self respect.
They aren't going to quit a job playing movie cop or red team/blue team soldiers for that much money even if they feel like they're not doing the right thing in the long run.

But I don't think they have to worry much. This administration will probably RIF them within the next eight months, once they can get Posse Comitatus declared unenforceable and start using lower paid military, maybe even draftees forced to do 2 years of ICE duty for military E-2/E-3 pay ($28k - $32k a year).
