Trump’s strategy only works when he’s wealthier or more powerful than his opponent. But when he’s facing someone like Murdoch with $24 billion, elite legal teams, and less incentive to protect him, the old playbook fails.

So unless Trump is willing to risk enormous exposure and legal defeat, this will end with a bang on Truth Social, followed by a whimper in court. This may embolden other outlets, exposing Trump to much more scrutiny
