Colbert has months to go on his contract, and it will be interesting for all of us.

He sells a great many products. Will the advertisers cave before next year, too?

Will the public who cherishes democracy push back on his behalf, and ultimately, how will Colbert handle it all?

I believe we are in test mode. I hope we all do the right thing.
