WSJ wouldn't have published that article, here: https://archive.is/ANtBN unless they'd run it past their lawyers and made damn sure it would withstand a defamation claim - truth is an absolute defense against defamation. They reported the existence of the letter, the drawing and the note, and stated that the letter bears Trump's name and that it "isn't clear" how the letter was prepared. The collection was put together by Ghislaine Maxwell, who apparently sought contributions from Epstein's friends and associates. WSJ didn't claim that Trump personally wrote the note or drew the picture, just that his signature appears at the naughty bits of the outlined nude. Trump is just doing one of his threat displays, trying to look bigger than he is. If he does go ahead with a lawsuit, the discovery process is likely to uncover even more dirt, and WSJ knows it.
