I also don't think I want to meet someone I don't know personally, for safety reasons of course. Furthermore, I don't think they would like that I am posting on here. My family wasn't happy when I posted on Facebook/Instagram happy that Joe Biden won and other similar things. Unfortunately, nowadays employers are looking on social media, so although some of my friends do, it would be very risky to post on it, even though I have strong opinions on things.
Another thing is, flying up there is tricky. It's not like if I go from Orlando to Philadelphia. I would have to fly from Orlando to I guess Denver and from there, to Kalispell. The other thing is timing. I always tell them if I am going to go up there, do it either in April or May, or do in October/early November. Here in Orlando, we have a thunderstorm season from June through September where the sea-breeze comes into play. Because it can cause significant delays and possibly missing my connecting flight, it would be tricky. On the other side of the coin, Denver/Whitefish sometimes gets winter storms, and again, if it is strong, I might be stuck in either place. So anywhere from December to March probably isn't the best time.
Trust me, it's a big thing. When I visited my sister when she lived in Denver, I flew out of Tampa because I lived in Lakeland. This also was during COVID. I believe it was in mid-July 2021. Again, this is in the thick of the rainy season in Florida. While I was I waiting for my flight, we had thunderstorms over Tampa and Orlando. We were stuck on the tarmac for 45 minutes. When we arrived, many of the passengers had connecting flights. Now during COVID, when boarding, they did back to front, and then debarking it was front to back. So what they did was they let the passengers that had connecting flights off first, and then the rest went on from there. Luckily I didn't have to.
The other thing is, all my doctors, dentists, etc. are within 3 miles of me here in Orlando.
