Trump's ABSURD $230 Million Demand of DOJ - Glenn Kirschner
Donald Trump has made a staggeringly absurd demand that the Department of Justice pay him $230 million for investigating his alleged wrongdoing.
Part of his claim involves an allegation that the FBI and the DOJ violated his privacy rights when they searched Mar-a-Lago.
The reason that claim falls under the weight of its own frivolity is because a federal judge was presented with a sworn statement detailing the evidence supporting the FBI's assertion that there was probable cause to believe evidence of crime would be found at Mar-a-Lago. Upon reviewing the evidence, a federal judge concluded that there WAS probable cause to believe evidence of crime would be found at Mar-a-Lago at the time the search warrant was authorized. And, lo and behold, when the FBI searched Mar-a-Lago they found . . . evidence of crime. Go figure.
I sat down with my friend and former State Attorney for Palm Beach County, Florida, Dave Aronberg to discuss the ins and outs of Donald Trump's absurd demand that DOJ should now pay him $230 million in taxpayer money. - Glenn Kirschner - 10/27/2025.
