We Asked Trump Voters About Grocery Prices - More Perfect Union

Trump pledged to lower grocery prices, but beef prices are up 12.8% and coffee prices are up 20.9%.

Now, Zohran Mamdani is offering a radical solution.

We went out with ‪@accordingtothekid‬ to ask New Yorkers — including Trump voters — what they think of city-owned grocery stores.

When we have approximately 54% of American adults aged 16-74 with literacy skills below a 6th-grade level, this is what we get !

I wish they would sit home and not vote. We keep trying to educate the voters, but they don’t have critical thinking skills. I don’t blame the schools. I’ve seen teens from the same schools and some study and apply themselves and others do the minimum. ( as Trump said , he loves the poorly educated ) Also, I have several non-college friends who are intelligent and successful. People - Do the Work! Tell your kids and grandkids. Get off TikTok and enrich your life.

Trump has repeatedly shown them who he is and they vote for him anyway. These people just parrot a few media propaganda lines and convince themselves that it’s accurate.

What’s appalling is that there was a smart, funny, joyful, down-to-earth Black Lady who spoke about Kitchen Table issues and they voted for the guy who wants them locked-up in concentration camps.

I wish all beings , loving - kindness. Even those who vote Republican because we need a compassionate, smart, and cooperative world !

. I also read your profile and I’m agreeing with your points. All well said. We gotta work on educating the voting public and hopefully they will teach others they influence

rather than were they want them to be since uninformed or less informed people can vote.

Trump, unfortunately for the rest of us, met people where they were. He brought them a reality show, and that's where many Americans are, while also giving empty promises of lower prices.
