Most of the articles with such headlines go on to refute their own titles.

But, they get clicks.

How many posters here have put hope in their reporting, and have later found themselves disappointed by that hype later?
Meidastouch can take their overblown headlines, with all the multiple crazy shit exclamation points and get lost!

Ken Harbaugh interviews Texas State Rep. James Telerico who mentions that, among other things, he and the other Democratic Texas State Reps. who left the state are not only being "threatened and worse by his own government," but have also received bomb threats at the hotel they were staying at.

The Texas Republicans hold a 20-11 majority in the Senate and a 88-62 majority in the House.

The Texas State Democratic Reps. who left the state did so because it was the only thing they could do to prevent the GOP Trump-loving fascists from creating new Republican districts.

Look beyond the stupid Meidas Touch headlines because what those brave Texas Democrats have done is an important, heroic, and necessary act.
