Russia Can't Afford a Second Front -- So Why Are They Putting Troops on NATO's Borders? - Paul Warburg

Russia's nuclear capabilities are under attack. Ukraine has stolen the plans for Russia's new "super secret" nuclear submarine. The implications are huge - both for Russia and Ukraine, but also for Russia's ability to project nuclear power for years to come.

but I think they're probably there to threaten weaponized migrants into crossing out of Russia, it's what they've been used for up until now. The nations in question are fortifying their borders Unfortunately, they are using anti personnel mines because of the weaponized migrants. The optics will be horrendous, but I doubt they have many other choices.
