1. Maybe the phrase "WH meltdown" is being overused these days. Or, the WH is made of asbestos.

Seems there is a "meltdown" every day or two. Epstein files, the finger from Brazil on tariffs, South Park. Tomorrow.....the reality that tariffs are de facto taxes and are causing inflation? Meanwhile, over at Meltdown Central...

It isn't just Independents, I believe a critical number of Republicans are beginning to break from him as well.

As Gaza continues to deteriorate and ever more Americans become increasingly aware of Epstein/*rump's relationship, I don't see that trend reversing.

thinks he can get away with tariffs even though they are a de facto tax and are raising inflation which is exactly the issue that supposedly sunk Dem ticket in 2024. I am beginning to believe the traditional calculus in these matters just doesn't work. at least as far as Trump is concerned. I guess 2026 mid terms will be the test.

...crafty. Many of the most politically damaging provisions in the BBB won't take affect until after the mid terms. So they can claim credit with the base of doing all the nasty stuff the base wants without many getting hit with Medicaid and other cuts until after 2026. They are certainly slimeballs but not completely politically stupid.
