I suspect that I will be one of them.

Don't these people know that by continually harping on what tRump is doing, without any looking at what we, as sane and caring people, want to do, that all their efforts are only emphasizing on our hapless Prez?
They need to give a balancing finish to make these work! They need to talk about where to go next, not harp on the past and the present.

The founders of the group all started life as Republican operatives — Rick Wilson was particularly successful against Democrats. When Trump rose, they got off the crazy train their party had become and turned their talents to trying to defeat him and MAGA.

The important thing to understand is they are our allies in this, believe in the US Constitution, but they are not Democrats. They are trying to defeat MAGA-GOP with everything they know how to do, without the financial backing of either party. They target Republicans. In the past they’ve actually sometimes targeted an audience of one, and got under his thin orange skin quite well. They don’t carry a message from the Dem Platform — that is up to us.

As for the message you have in mind, it’s fine, and Dems have actually tried that many times.

We’re up against a cult, at this point, and they do have the financial backing of major donors to the GOP and far-far right. They have the tech-bros, in particular several South African billionaires born and raised during apartheid, who immigrated to the US with lots of money and made even more. Then they got into politics. Musk (Trump) and Thiel (JD Vance) are only two. Also Russia actually has been mucking about with our elections, just like Obama tried to tell us.

Worse, the American tech-bros (read: billionaires) had a hand in the narrow defeat of two female presidential candidates. Don’t believe me? Well, try believing both Trump and Musk, neither of whom has a sense of humor, and both of whom have let slip in passing that Musk had a hand in adjusting the vote-counting apparatus.

We have a lot to do to turn this around. I’ll take my allies wherever I can find them.
