Federal Judge Shoots Down Trump's DOJ In Its Attempt To Deport People WITHOUT Adequate Notice - Glenn Kirschner

Trump's DOJ lawyers continue to make a mockery of the Constitution. This time, they argued in court that they will give Venezuelan immigrants only 24 hours of notice before they deport them.

A federal judge in Colorado Ruled that such a scheme clearly does not satisfy the due process rights of notice and opportunity to be heard.
Accordingly, the judge ordered that the Trump administration must give the Venezuelan migrants 21 days notice in advance of any attempted deportations, and fully inform them of their right to challenge their removal in court.

Hurting his cause even more, Donald Trump said not only the quiet part but the unconstitutional part out loud in new posts, as this video discusses. - Glenn Kirschner - 04/22/2025.

but it occurred to me while listening that the Alien Enemies Act uses IIRC the word invasion and incursion, and also mentions a foreign government. There is no way that a gang can be construed as being a government unless it actually is the government (like in El Salvador just now,) which is not true of, for instance, MS-13. Also, the definition of "treason" in the Constitution, with its use of the word "enemy" has always been understood to mean that we must be under a declaration of war in order for treason to be committed. If he can throw out the definition of war in his executive order, perhaps we could throw it out as it pertains to treason in connection with him. Yeah, that would be a very bad move. He would be more unscrupulous interpreting it than we would be. But, you know, pwople who live in glass houses....

He is such an ignoramus that he puts us in danger every time he opens his mouth! And you're right, no matter what he blurts out, we are not at war - except in his ignorant mind.
