It reminds me of cops who have their funding cut by Republicans and see their fellow police officers beaten on January 6, 2021 by Trump's thugs, but still vote for Republicans in every election.

She has been preparing to take this to Federal court from the get go

She is a former civil rights attorney. Before going the bench she fought for voting rights, including arguing twice before SCOTUS. National players are testing new strategies and approaches. They assume this is below the radar. It would set dangerous precedent. It will spread like wildfire unless they stop it. She is defending the rights of people who didn't vote for her.
