Why Trump's Delusions Are So Dangerous: Dr. John Gartner

No surprise, but Dr. John Gartner diagnoses Trump with psychosis, and predicts that he will become increasingly dangerous and violent.

Joanna Coles welcomes back psychologist Dr. John Gartner as the conversation takes a chilling turn, with Dr. Gartner arguing that Donald Trump has crossed from grandiosity into full-blown psychosis, pointing to a barrage of erratic late-night posts—including AI images portraying himself as Jesus—as evidence of a manic, delusional spiral unfolding in real time. Dr. Gartner lays out a stark clinical case, connecting sleep disruption, cognitive decline, and escalating “messianic” fantasies to dangerous decision-making on the global stage, from impulsive foreign policy moves to a growing appetite for conflict. What emerges is a portrait of a leader increasingly detached from reality, alienating his own base while doubling down on grandiose claims, as insiders scramble, critics demand cognitive testing, and the stakes climb toward something far more consequential than political controversy.

so clearly by someone with expertise on the subject.

But if he gets to the point of wanting to destroy everything, wouldn't his staff and cabinet just refuse to obey the orders? If they refused, he couldn't do anything about it.

Since he currently seems untouchable, why not deal with the problem from another angle? Are there any proceedings for getting people like Hegseth out of office or can cabinet members only be removed by the president?

I can't understand why people around him continue to cover for him. Makes me wonder if there are powerful people behind the scenes who are using him because, crazy as he is, they benefit from keeping him there and everyone else is afraid of crossing them.

Would a huge rally of citizens demanding that the mental health issue be openly disclosed accomplish anything?

I think they are all as crazy as he is. Power, God like status. Oh, and money they are all making money while selling out our very country.

We have rallied with NO KINGS.

Minnesota and California fought back. They were war zones.

But I am thinking of a rally with one specific purpose, to demand open disclosure about Trump's mental state. Not the usual gaslighting from Trump himself, but an examination by a psychiatrist independent of the administration.

knowing what a pathetic, dangerous creature he is, or realizing just how many people look at him and see something of value
