It's always somebody else's fault. He responds to his own failures and to criticism not by looking inward at himself, but by lashing out at others and seeking retribution.

The one time it might be said Trump was publicly humiliated was when he had to sit still in the audience at the Correspondents Dinner as President Obama roasted him. What was going through Trump's lizard brain as he sat there? Revenge, and a grudge he will NEVER let go of.
