Inside Trump Mobile (with full teardown) - NBC News

A scanner, microscope and an old-fashioned teardown of Trump Mobile’s T1 phone showed that it was almost identical to the HTC U24 Pro. NBC News' Brian Cheung explains.

Brian Cheung took the phone to iFixit, who scanned the phone and tore it down. Under the cover, the "proudly assembled in the USA" Trump T1 appears identical to the HTC U24 Pro, except that the flash LED is relocated.
They transplanted the guts of a U24 Pro into the T1 and the Frankensteined T1 ran just fine.
Their conclusion: The Trump T1 is a fraternal twin of the U24 Pro. All components came from China, and the T1 was likely made in the same Chinese factory as the U24 Pro.
