Lawrence: The Trump presidency is collapsing like the Berlin Wall collapsed - The Last Word - MS NOW

MS NOW’s Lawrence O’Donnell describes how the Trump wall in the House and Senate that “prevented Republicans from ever voting with Democrats” collapsed this week over the Epstein files “as dramatically and quickly as the collapse of the Berlin Wall in 1989.” - Aired on 11/20/2025.

The fall of this administration has been seriously proclaimed on a daily basis since January 20, 2025.

And from what we've seen, that Amendment sure makes sense!

That is the point of Lawrence O'Donnell's message. Trump's hold is weakening with every day that passes. We must not give up, and we must continue to fight against him, the Republican party, and the ignorance of MAGA. It will not be easy, but we will win. Hang in there, my friends, this evil man will soon be what he fears the most--a loser!

His first term was bad enough, but I guess his voters hadn't suffered enough. The recent elections were heartening (including in my part of New York!), but then today he lost it yet again with his heinous threats and attacks.

I often think of the presidents in my lifetime and no one, not even Republicans, were even close to his insanity and departure from the rule of law. Those of us who cringed when we learned about the governmental abuses in other countries are getting a taste of it now. There are times when I find it hard to believe.

I remember enough of Nixon to realize that he was done when his own party turned against him, and I kept waiting in vein for that to happen now. We keep hearing that his health is failing, but I can't help hoping against hope that he sees the inside of a jail cell before he leaves us for good.
