Here in Northeastern New York I voted today and for the first time ever there were long lines! Didn't take me very long to fill in my ballot, though, since I vote a straight Democratic ticket, and there were only 2 on the ballot, three counting the non-partisan library trustee.

The LGBT Center polling place had a long line but the one with the drop off by the local library had people walking up and dropping them off. I haven't seen this at the polls in years and I always vote on Election Day since I really, really like voting. It makes me feel patriotic.
