I totally get that. Call it “political shorthand”. The Rolex tells you all you need to know about how interested they REALLY are in what you want and need.

I would have responded to that nasty Rolex republican's last point of a socialist future with "what I don't want is your oligarchy where 10 rich guys bankrupt the rest of the country."

graced the wrist of a Turkish intern who'd managed to cope with Hrvard and Harvard Medical School and got it from his family for graduation. We all figured the guy had earned it but kept trying to clue him in about wearing a cheap watch at work, especially ihat part of town. I hope he listened, he was too nice a guy to get mugged for it.

It was a huge hunk of gold with diamonds, not my taste, at all.

Hogg's got a good pooint about being lectured by a bunch of new money jerks on CNN, though.

But I'm glad they put some strong messaging Dems on this panel to hand it to the resident incendiary white wing extremists. I could watch Moskowitz rub their faces in it all day.

It is not about "left" and it is not about "right". It is about voters wanting to support leaders with real plans. Voters will almost always back the candidate who is more specific and tangible about their plans over the one who s vague and slippery. This is true even if the plans seem really stupid ( "I'll build a magic wall" ) or the candidates are objectively real ignoramuses. People want leaders, even bad leaders. They don't want people who just talk around every issue with a bunch of words that mean nothing.

What bold idea did Cuomo bring to this campaign? I can't think of a single one. His only idea is that his opponent is a young snot-nosed commie sympathizer. People just don't want to hear that about Mamdani, about AOC or about anyone else. They want the politicians to present solutions, and they will go with bad, implausible solutions if that is the only thing on the table.

Harris' most tangible idea was something about first time home buyers. Biden's most tangible idea was something about scrapple in Scranton. Mamdani is talking real things like public transportation, rent controls and many other very tangible ideas that affect millions of constituents.

to explain what these are, because none of them can really explain it, and its very simple.

"Socialism" is nothing but rhetoric used by "Communists" to lure the masses to vote for them, once in power they become "Communists", and "Communism" is nothing but a dictatorship with a different name.

Anyone name a "Socialist" country please...There are ZERO.

Also, one could easily call trump a communist, his actions are exactly the same. If one looks at a country like Venezuela, where a supposed "Socialism of the 21st Century" took hold...Its a regime, it is a dictatorship, no freedom of speech, the middle class has been converted into a poor class, those within the regime, the military brass have become billionaires by robbing the country of everything, the infrastructure has collapsed, people who speak against the regime are taken prisoners, tortured and most of the time killed, there is zero equality, which is what the "Socialist" philosophy sells.

I bet not one of those republicans can speak clearly, define clearly what socialism and communism are.

What a bunch of jerks republicans are.
