I worked across the street from the capitol, and frequently went over on my lunch hour to watch him. It was an exciting time to be young and liberal in the south. It was the mosty optimistic time of my life...and here we are today! grrrr

And I learned about and came to admire Andrew Young when Jimmy Carter talked all about him in his autobiography ("A Full Life: Reflections at 90" ) which I have listened to numerous times (read by the author!).
