I hope that someone is keeping tabs of all the money it's costing the taxpayers to make up for the Trump Administration's incompetence and extravagances.

Pete Hegseth has done everything he can to try and put the blame elsewhere for this tragedy. He has tried to blame the FAA and the ATC in the tower that night. Sadly this was a training failure by the crew of the helicopter who were not flying at the correct altitude because of a faulty altimeter and who visually identified the wrong aircraft. Lastly the pilot keyed her mike at the exact time that the ATC told them to drop to 200 feet and go behind the aircraft that they collided with.
I wonder if the government will just settle because the discovery phase of this lawsuit will show that the Pentagon knew for years that those helicopter flights were a potential hazard to aircraft flying in and out of DCA.

They are definitely deserving of compensation, and I hope they are successful!
