He's not that bright. These smack of the Heritage Assholes and Project 2025 probably started and set up with Pyutin back in Tramp's first term. And they are probably world-wide and have been setting this up in many countries, like Argentina, for a number of years!

Someone is convincing him what to do, likely Project 2025 authors, but the ridiculous and harmful tariff idea I attribute to TFG.
