Apologies for putting the thread title in quotes, because to be honest (TBH) it's a slight paraphrase and shortening of this tweet from Tommy Vietor, cohost of Pod Save America and former NSC spokesman for President Obama:

Especially after watching yet another god-awful Trump press conference. Its easy to forget what a good decent leader sounds like.

Wow. On @cnn, @JoeBiden started to give out his cell phone number to family members of deceased #coronavirus patients, then stopped — probably realizing he wouldn’t be able to respond to the sheer volume. Character & empathy of leaders like him will get us through this.
