Over Bette Davis no less!

I was once in a community theatre production of the play and it was so much fun, I played the William Holden role and got my ribs banged up in the fight scene with the guy playing Harry, it got a bit too rough...Still, I had a good time.

Billie: Would you do me a favor, Harry?

Harry Brock: What?

Billie: Drop dead!

(I think she was thinking about my father . . . . . )

Judy Holliday won every game, & despite Broderick Crawford holding a handful of cards every time she called "gin", he gave himself a laughable, made-up score every time.
