(20,082 posts)Easy to do on an iphone, maybe others.
Also, see if any browser extension is clearing cookies for whatever reason, like closing a tab.
Clearing cookies/history/data will log you out.

(20,082 posts)I'll bet that cookies for the site are somehow getting deleted. Browser Settings? Good luck checking them. So many.

(23,651 posts)Ok... I can keep (at least usually) DU as a working site while I go to others as along as I don't close DU down.
I get a "image" of each opened app floating on the background: so say DU, Google, a game app, Pluto TV.
I can scroll between each, and pick one.
Until early Sat I could go back and forth without losing my signed in "state" to DU.
I restarted my phone; but that didn't work.
Go figure. So idk...

(23,165 posts)you're not staying signed in, then this is most likely a cookie issue. It's possible that your browser is not set to allow cookies from DU, which means a cookie can't be set when you sign in, even if the "stay signed in" box is checked.
If it was working before though, and you haven't changed anything, then typically this just means that something has gone wrong with the cookie. This is not unusual. If this is what's happened, the remedy is to clear DU cookies from your browser, then sign in again with the box checked, and that should resolve the issue.
If you're not sure how to clear DU cookies, searching for "how to clear site-specific cookies" along with the name of your browser should find the info you're looking for.

(41,260 posts)I'll give the cookie removal a try.
Yes, the signed in box is always checked.
