Jury for a post on a closed thread?

I was called for a jury duty, the post was down the thread but the first thing I saw was that the OP was "auto removed." So I just cancelled my duty. I think that when the OP is hidden, that no one can add to it. Right?

I got that jury call too. I let it go as moot.

It must have had two posts in the same thread alerted on. Two people dissing each other, I'm guessing. I went ahead and finished the jury duty, but, like you say, it probably didn't matter.

and whose OP was removed.

The "charge" was no personal attack, I think, or no bigotry.

The "offensive" post was something like: "this is your first post and you are going after a Democratic leader?", or something..

Once I saw that the whole thread would be locked, I did not see any reason to proceed.

However, IIRC, even if a post is removed, a jury can still see it.
