***NEW: A incredible jet stream of 265 mph in the Mid-Atlantic

pushed airlines to speeds over 800 mph. Virgin Atlantic flight from Dulles to London hit 802 mph. A United flight from Newark to Lisbon reached 835 mph, a possible record.!!!

flying from Kona to Portland. 4 hours 42 minutes. The pilot was pretty jazzed about it.
