When I was working, I put my Cubs calendar and various Cubs artifacts on my desk

I would put them up on Opening Day and take them down on the last day of the Cubs season. When they won the World Series, I got a poster from the Chicago Tribune that had the front pages of when they beat the Giants, then the Dodgers and then the Indians (now Guardians); I had it framed and it sat on the shelf behind my desk until Opening Day 2017. Now it sits in my dining room. What a year that was!

2. Now that you mention it, I did keep the poster up until the end of the Cubs season in 2017

hoping for a repeat. I know it was up for a year. I don’t know why I said it was only up until Opening Day 2017.

How could I have forgotten that? Maybe because it was late, my brain wasn't working right or maybe it's because the old gray mare, ahe ain't what she used to be!
