After Knicks chaos, Trump plans to attend World Cup final in New Jersey: Sources

It's no wonder, then, that two sources familiar with the plans tell NBC News the president wants to attend the FIFA World Cup 2026 final at NY/NJ Stadium (formerly MetLife) on July 19.

A White House official confirmed to NBC News the administration was "holding it" on the president's schedule.

Good luck managing the traffic through that one.

The first of eight World Cup matches to be played at NY/NJ Stadium is Saturday, between Brazil and Morocco.
