Le Tour is never easy, this year no exception. But it will get brutal starting tomorrow in the Pyrenees followed by the Alps for over a week of incredible climbs.
Possibly one of the hardest is Stage 13 on Friday, an individual time trial 11 km up a steep mountain. It concludes at the Altiport 007 in Peyragudes (featured in "Tomorrow Never Dies" . Can't remember them racing against the clock on such a challenging course.

(11,517 posts)Where I can watch live, the last two years we have no coverage?
I have watched every stage since LeMond and was competing most of those years regionally.
I hate I can not see it. I LOVE the Mtn stages. But hate the fans all in their faces.
Hope you can guide me to a site to see again.

(65,686 posts)I saw Stage 1 live on a Saturday morning on NBC via my local over the air affiliate. Since then, everything has been on Peacock, I think. Meaning Ive seen nothing past Stage 1.
I could easily be mistaken. There might some obscure channel that comes in on Roku, but I wouldnt count on it.

(11,517 posts)I Got excited, thought it was coming back on.
Hopefully they can keep trump off the podium each stage and then take the trophy home in Paris.
Imagine him in bike tights and the Yellow stretched over his fat ass. He would demand the Yellow Jersey be turned to golden.
I was a major fan of Lance, and when he would look back at the competition on the Mountains, then stand on the pedals and start the dancing and hammer it down leaving them behind, I would get hoarse cheering him on.
Sad outcome but I still wear the Livestrong band everyday, for the focus he put on cancer surviving.
Lost my wife after a long battle in 2001. Have had the band on 24/7 since.
Thanks for the alert, maybe weekend highlights.
Cheers.
