Neuromancer's Author, William Gibson, Has Been Actively Involved With Apple TV's Adaptation

Apple has sure been a dominating force in SciFi lately.

From the recent Pluribus, to Severance, Silo, Dark Matter, For All Mankind, Foundation, etc.

And now to tackle the original classic of the "cyberpunk" genre, Neurmancer !!

I have high hopes...

Callum Turner was cast to play the leading character, Case, in Apple TV's Neuromancer. In an interview with ScreenRant, Turner opened up about the show's production and dropped some intriguing details about how it is being approached. Turner also assured book fans that Neuromancer's original author, William Gibson, has been actively involved with the show's production.

As Turner confirmed, they have been giving a lot of value to the author's input because no one understands the original book's story better than him. "We had William Gibson a part of the process, and it's his book. It's his vision," he said. This is incredible news because TV adaptations often take way too many creative liberties and end up shedding everything that made their source material great.
