Two sides, both entrenched
Not budging, no motion
Equal in strength, no momentum
On the day of equal power

From here onward
The days will grow longer
Light will gain power
Over the futile Darkness
Ruling this unfortunate land
In incompetence and evil

The Light will reveal past sins
Carried but ignored, hidden
Dark hearts on the Right
Ignoring the needs of the People
Who cry out in the Winter’s cold
Gripped in insecurity and fear

The Light will warm us
Revealing the truth in time
As hope becomes real in the hearts
And the Darkness is overcome
One day at a time
As the Night shrinks slowly

The Equinox is the starting point
For victory over stubborn Evil
Secrets revealed and tested
Unmasking the powerful
Truth not defined by Evil
But by Good.
