It would not surprise me that he's rigging it to win it himself, he'll use an Executive Order.

(10,753 posts)1) Strictly speaking, the odds of any combination of 6 random numbers are no less likely to win than any other... so 1-2-3-4-5-PB6 has the same odds of winning as any other set of numbers. Sobering when you see the numbers on your ticket and realize THAT little tidbit of chance, no?
2) I am going to buy one quick-pick ticket. I am then going to turn around and buy a second ticket with the exact same 6 numbers as "jackpot insurance"... this way, if I am ridiculously lucky enough to win the jackpot and someone else also hits the numbers (as frequently happened in past huge prizes) then I get 66.6% and the other winner gets 33.3%....LOL! And since my chances of winning are 1 in 290,000,000 anyway, the difference between 1 in 290,000,000 and 2 in 290,000,000 is ludicrously small anyway!!!

(21,672 posts)I'd been playing mega million, but heard the price was going up to $5. I'd been playing that because power ball was $2 a play and I didn't want to pay that.
I'm going to buy tickets for the Sat. drawing. I liked the cartoons, especially the one where the lady picks random numbers as she shops. I did that today, then used a frequency chart for the other plays.
I've had a fantasy list of people and organizations I'd share with if I ever won. Its a nice daydream.
Good luck, whoever wins!

(52,211 posts)Lotteries have defeated me psychologically. In the very first PA Lottery in the early 80s I picked 3 of six. Won nothing or $2, don't remember. So ended intuition.
