Kalamazoo suspect liked shooting guns, had 15 at home

Neighbor says Jason Dalton would regularly shoot off his guns, sometimes for hours at a time

Jason Dalton's neighbors have said he liked guns, but just how much is becoming more apparent.

The Uber driver is the suspect in a killing spree in Kalamazoo. Eleven long guns and four handguns were seized from his home in rural Cooper Township, north of Kalamazoo, in the aftermath of Saturday's shootings that left six people dead and two others gravely wounded.

A neighbor told the Free Press today that Dalton regularly shot off his guns, sometimes for hours on end, outside his home.

Donald Dawkins, public information officer for the Detroit field division of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, said ATF agents assisted in the investigation at Dalton's home Sunday and recovered “several long guns and several handguns."

but if you treat them with as much disdain as you treat civilians we're left to wonder who should enforce gun control laws.
