I have watched too many movies that portrayed us as tragic characters, and now this — a public declaration of love and a kiss that the crowd cheers. Do not take this moment for granted. This is a triumph, a cultural phenomenon, something that has been fought for. I only wish those who passed could have seen this. This is for them."
