In the last 10 years I've seen a rapid escalation with the new practices in costs and expensive prescriptions. I think most of this is driven by VC chains. Profit over care.

I had surgery on both knees, and now one of them works. So, good outcomes for me were 50%, while lots of post operative pain was 100%. So, I agree with not putting your kitty cat thru it. Instead, invest in pet stairs and ramps to make it easier for her to move around.

Being an Abyssinian, she loves to be up high. She's real smart and knows her limitations. She'll look at my dresser and know she's not going to make it so she won't attempt the jump. It's got to be frustrating for her.
