Wrist is bothering me today, so no cooking.

Enjoy!

Proteins are chicken thighs, Andouille sausage and shrimp. I have separated out some to another pan before adding shrimp for our guest who doesn't eat seafood.

Cornbread is in the oven.

Ducky is excited because we have told him his buddy Peter is coming.

I made 2# of breakfast sausage for the freezer last weekend, in 8oz logs, because I need some for the Thanksgiving stuffing. DH wants to use one log for this.

Ok, so it's not particularly healthy. We'll have some veg with it - probably a half jar of green beans. I have that left over from the chicken noodle soup I made last night, which had every veg I could find thrown in. Still have a quart of that left over, too.

Frugal cooking - gotta love it.

Leftover split pea soup and a tofu “egg” salad sandwich on multigrain bread with sliced tomato and romaine lettuce. Cheers!🥂
