Related: About this forumI'm excited to have just begun to order
'chef-made' meals for myself, 4 per week beginning 7 October. I hope they work. The company is Cook Unity.
Here is one to be delivered, 7 Oct:
Chicken Agrodolcewith Lemony Broccoli
If a recipe has been around since ancient Roman times, you know it must be a good one. Chef Marcs take on Italian Chicken Agrodolce starts with succulent, perfectly seasoned boneless chicken thighs, roasted with extra virgin olive oil and earthy oregano. Then, he crafts a richly layered pan sauce with red wine, honey, orange, balsamic vinegar, garlic, almonds, raisins, and dried cherries. The resulting dish is bursting with savory-tangy-sweet flavor. Served with a side of refreshing lemony broccoli, this is the kind of beautifully balanced meal youll want to put on regular rotation.
OK, BED-time!

(75,316 posts)It is easy to skip meals.
And just drink tea or coke.
Or snack on junk.
This will make you eat a balanced diet on a regular basis.
I think four times a week is good.
I am not a big eater and more than that would be way too much food.
And you will probably have leftovers.
But you can always increase the order if it is not enough.
The days in between you can have soup or salad, or something out of the freezer.
I have started buying more frozen food from Costco so I can just pop
things into the microwave.

Costco is a blessing!

(75,316 posts)Yes when the weather turns cooler, then I want to eat hot cooked food.
I love Dan Dan noodles, and Costco has Ming's Dan Dan in the frozen food section.
I stocked up!

I will eat somethings in between, and can add additional 'snacks'; will determine how many I want. Have already ordered one, peach cobbler. Peaches and passion fruit, sweet and tangy, baked beneath a golden biscuit crust thats both crisp and buttery. The fruit bubbles, the topping soaks up the fruity juices, and the whole thing begs for a spoonful of whipped cream.

(140,876 posts)Hoping I can afford it.
Irish_Dem
(75,316 posts)You could cut back to twice a week meals if it becomes too expensive.
That would still be an improvement in your nutrition.
I wonder how it compares to prepared foods at your local grocery store?
In terms of price and taste.
