Breakfast Sunday 28 September 2025

Later this morning, I'll have veggie scrambled eggs and turkey sausage snd hot tea . My neighbors is going away for 2 weeks, so I got a variety of veggies. SCORE!

I wanted something meditative for music for today, this seems perfect

it was a nice change for my ears, musically stunning and took me to a different place entirely
which is a rare feat and special treat these days.

My Mom of blessed memory played Karl Hass adventures in good music program when I was growing up in the 60s& 70s. Growing up in Motown era Detroit area, I was shown a variety of music, including Oompah bands and Polish polka bands. My dvd collection is embarrassingly large.
I am glad you enjoyed it

I used to hit a bar after driving night line haul turns mid 1990’s I’d get home walk to this hole in the wall for liquid breakfast.
The morning crew was predominantly teamsters or factory workers coming off third shift.
And once in awhile this polka would be played on the jukebox. And a fellow road driver friend of mine a teamster a Vietnam vet a black dude would nudge me.
And say dam pollak why are you not up dancing this is your peoples music.

So you are indeed lucky to have such a neighbor who would give you “picking rights” !

This morning I can hardly wait to toast an English muffin and go outside to enjoy it while I look over the four hours of work I put in yesterday. Like Irisblue, I got lucky—over a dozen plants to add to my container garden, AKA a kitchen garden.

I think I’ll also make a raspberry milkshake.

Hope to post pics later of the new garden additions.
